Common Variations and Exceptions

If the Apple TV Does Not Appear

Make sure notifications are enabled under Apple TV Settings > General > Notifications > APlay.

If the device still does not appear, restart the Apple TV or reinstall the APlay app. When APlay requests notification permission, select Allow. Sign in again, return to Settings > Device, and select Update Device once more.

How to Confirm It Worked

The sync is complete when the Apple TV displays "Device updated successfully" and appears under Manage Devices in your joinamazing.com dashboard. The device should also display the name and group you assigned.
