Auto-renewal keeps your APlay access running from one subscription year into the next without a gap. It cannot be turned off in APlay or on the website; the only way is to email customercare@amazinglife.com ahead of your billing date. This article explains how to turn it off, what our team does before your renewal, and what you give up by declining it.

Before You Begin

The email address associated with your account.
Your billing date, which is the one-year mark of the purchase date of the product you bought.
Note that auto-renewal cannot be turned off in APlay or on the website.

How to Cancel

Email customercare@amazinglife.com from the email address on your account, ahead of your billing date. This is the only channel for changing auto-renewal, and it must reach the team before you are billed.
State that you want to be removed from auto-renewal, and include your account details so the team can locate your subscription. [CONFIRM: exactly which details Customer Care needs]
Wait for written confirmation from Customer Care that auto-renewal has been turned off, and keep that confirmation. [CONFIRM: expected turnaround time for confirmation]

Action — risk of turning off auto-renewal: Turning off auto-renewal means your service is no longer continuous. Your access is revoked at the one-year mark of your purchase date, and you will not have uninterrupted service unless you re-establish your account before that point. If you intend to keep using the curriculum, leaving auto-renewal on is what prevents a gap.

What Auto-Renewal Does and What Happens If You Turn It Off

We are a subscription company, and auto-renewal exists because we believe in ongoing, year-round service. A subscription that renews without a gap is what allows curriculum, media, and service builds to stay in place and keep working from one year to the next. Auto-renewal is what keeps your APlay access live.

What happens before your renewal

You are not renewed silently. Ahead of your renewal our team will call or email you to touch base and make sure your account details are current, so that nothing about the renewal is a surprise. You can also contact customercare@amazinglife.com at any time with questions about billing or auto-renewal. You do not need to wait for us to reach out.

What happens if you turn auto-renewal off

You can turn off auto-renewal at any time. Your access is not cut short when you do: it continues until the one-year mark of the purchase date of the product you bought, and is revoked at that point.

After your access is revoked you have 30 days to re-establish your account. If you return within those 30 days, your APlay account, media library, loaded playlists, and templates are restored with the same visibility you had before.

If you do not re-establish your account within those 30 days, all templates, media, and service builds are lost indefinitely. This is the practical risk of declining auto-renewal: the gap in service is what puts that content at risk.

If you have already been billed

If your renewal has already been processed, turning off auto-renewal does not reverse the charge. From the billing date you have 30 days to cancel in order to receive a full refund.

Note that this 30-day refund window and the 30-day window to re-establish an account are two different clocks measured from two different events. The refund window runs from your billing date. The re-establishment window runs from the point your access is revoked at the one-year mark.

Common Variations and Exceptions

You want to cancel outright rather than decline the next renewal. Both requests go to customercare@amazinglife.com and both leave your access running until the one-year mark of your purchase date. See the cancellation article linked in Section 8 if you are ending your subscription rather than pausing at the renewal.

You turned off auto-renewal and changed your mind. Contact customercare@amazinglife.com before the one-year mark of your purchase date and ask to be put back on auto-renewal. Doing so before your access is revoked avoids any gap in service. You have already been billed for the renewal. Contact customercare@amazinglife.com within 30 days of the billing date to request a full refund.

How to Confirm the Release Has Published

You will know auto-renewal is off when you receive written confirmation from Customer Care. Keep that confirmation.

Your access does not change at that point. You will continue to sign in to APlay and use your curriculum until the one-year mark of your purchase date.
